If you’re looking to learn from someone who is genuinely passionate about Yoga, you can’t go wrong with Arundhati Baitmangalkar and Aham Yoga! Arundhati is a former Bollywood actress and choreographer who is now based in Seattle in the US.

Aham Yoga has a few videos available on YouTube, but you can also book a variety of online classes that cater to novices and experienced yogi. If you want to take it to the next level and become a yoga teacher, there are teacher-specific classes and a podcast too.

  1. Yoga with Tim

Want to kickstart your yoga journey? Why not try Yoga with Tim’s 30-day challenge? You’ll be sent an email with a link to an exciting new yoga pose every day… all for free!

Tim speaks from experience – he was feeling low until he attended a yoga class for the first time. Fortunately, he now wants to share his love for yoga with the world. 

Not only are there a range of different moves and poses on his YouTube channel, but also different length workouts. Looking for a quick ten-minute workout before you go to work? Do you prefer an intense one-hour-long experience to help you relax at the weekend? Tim has something for everyone!

  1. Yoga with Adriene

Yoga with Adriene is one of the most popular yoga channels on YouTube… and with good reason! Adriene offers not only general yoga exercises but also meditation to combat anxiety and yoga poses to help with general aches and pains.

Her YouTube channel is one of the most organized we’ve seen at Chew & Lush. It is easy to go in and find a yoga routine that is perfect for your needs.

The other bonus of Adriene’s channel is her adorable dog Benji, who pops in to say hello in a lot of her videos!

  1. Arianna Elizabeth

Arianna runs ‘Bright and Salted Yoga‘, with lots of regular videos. One of the things we really like about Bright and Salted is that all the videos are so clean and aesthetically pleasing. It helps us feel a little bit calmer when we carry out the exercises!

As well as yoga poses, there is a strong focus on meditation. Yoga and meditation go hand in hand, with it helping to give you a sense of calm, improving your self-awareness and controlling anxiety.

  1. Yoga Journal

The magazine has been dedicated to yoga for over 35 years. It has been providing advice to beginners, experts and teachers of yoga alike.

Their YouTube channel has lots of free resources from a wide range of yogis. We’re sure you’ll easily find a favorite instructor!

As well as the basics, Yoga Journal will teach you more about the culture of yoga, including what specific chants mean, and general approaches to mindfulness.

  1. Jessamyn Stanley

Jessamyn focuses on body positivity on her YouTube channel, showing that you don’t have to be a specific shape or size to reap the benefits of yoga. 

As well as step-by-step guides to yoga poses, Jessamyn also talks about her thoughts on yoga and her experience as a teacher. You can also find a lot of useful information about skincare and clothing.

One of Chew & Lush´s favorite videos to start nice and calm into a new day is her 8-Minute Yoga for Self-Love. A great way to begin your day and easy to add to your daily routine. 

  1. Yoga with Briohny

Whilst the other channels on this list focus on yoga as a way to keep fit and flexible, Briohny prefers to look at yoga as a way to improve your inner focus. 

There are lots of playlists available for both beginners and teachers of yoga. Deep in the channel, there is also an interesting series of videos about how to do a handstand.

If you are anything like the Chew & Lush team, you will love this channel and Briohny’s playful energy!

Yoga Dose is dedicated to showcasing yoga as a way to increase your strength and supercharge your core. One of the most frequently updated channels, Yoga Dose posts a new video every Thursday.

We love the ’30 days to the total yoga body’ series, with a daily video showcasing lots of exciting yoga challenges to try!

  1. SarahBethYoga

The tagline for SaraBethYoga is ‘yoga at home’. All of the exercises on this YouTube channel are designed for you to try in the comfort of your own living room or bedroom!

Sarah focuses on a lot of different areas, including specialist prenatal yoga for mommies to be or yoga for balanced and healthy digestion. She also has great morning yoga sessions for all the early morning people out there! 

  1. Yoga with Kassandra

The great thing about yoga is that there are a variety of different kinds, meaning that you can choose the perfect workout for your needs. Kassandra specializes in various types of yoga on her channel, including the popular Yin Yoga.

What is Yin Yoga? It’s a special type of yoga that focuses on slow moves that are held for up to two minutes; all carried out on the floor while seated or lying down. It’s great for feeling in control of your body and relieving stress.
